Our approach
We believe that creativity is fundamental to being human, bringing purpose, meaning, and connection to our lives. Our mission is to enrich lives , strengthen relationships and support communities to thrive, by bringing creativity into the everyday.
We deeply value the importance of downtime and reflection as essential for creativity, well-being, and personal growth. In today’s fast-paced world, finding space to simply be can be a challenge—but it is in these moments that we gain clarity, feel truly alive, and reconnect with who we are at heart.
Meet the Founder
‘I'm a musician and registered music therapist based in West Yorkshire.
Songwriting, self-expression and collaboration, and are central to my own creative practice, and the work I do to support and inspire others.
Music has been part of my life since childhood, growing up with musician parents and starting to learn the violin at four. I found my own personal creative outlet as a teenager, when I discovered the guitar, songwriting, and the blues.
Alongside studying English literature, running a market garden, and raising a family, I developed a skill for using music to engage others. When working in various schools and special educational provision, I found music to be a powerful tool for connecting, often with people who were struggling on the margins of society. In 2011, I completed an masters in music therapy with Nordoff and Robbins. Since then, I have developed specialisms, working in women’s mental health and with adolescents.
Currently, I enjoy sharing my time between working as a music therapist, writing and performing music, tending two allotments, and leading Singing Hearts Collective.’
